I’m a potter and maker based in Indiana, creating small-batch ceramics for everyday use.
I make cups, mugs, and other functional ceramics to use around the house.
My grandfather taught me that things made by hand should be made well. He lived on Morningside Drive and worked as a finish carpenter. The name is a hat-tip to the attention to detail and craft I learned in his dusty wood shop. He was crafty, and also kind. While my small in-home studio satisfies my personal appetite for making crafty things by hand, it also gives me a chance to pass along a little delight to your day, and I’m sure he’d smile about that.
The name also comes partially from the celebration of new possibilities and new beginnings as I make this idea of creating ceramic work for others a reality.
Whether you’re looking for your new favorite mug or the perfect gift for a friend, I appreciate you supporting a local potter and stopping by my little corner of the internet. I hope you find something you—or your friends—love.
